- This
semester, two Great Books seminar courses will be offered: "Why We
Come to College" and "Citizenship and the Problem of
Justice"
- Among these,
"Citizenship and the Problem of Justice" will be
conducted in English. For 8 weeks between September and October, the
seminar will be co-taught by Professor Louis Petrich from St. John's
College and Professor Yonghwa Lee from the English Department. For the
rest of the semester, the seminar will be taught by Prof. Lee.
- Students who
excel in English and discussion skills in the "Citizenship and the
Problem of Justice" can receive a recommendation letter from
Professor Petrich, waiving the requirement to submit a TOEFL (iBT score of
100 or higher) score for the selection of students to be dispatched to St.
John's College for the first semester of 2025.
- For
reference, students selected for dispatch to St. John's College Graduate
School can receive a tuition reduction from $18,000 to $6,000 per semester
and can transfer credits, according to the agreement between INU and St.
John's College. (Detailed selection criteria and academic information will
be announced separately through the Office of International Affairs.)
Course Registration Notice: Please note that the "Citizenship and the Problem of Justice"
